![RKO - The Story Behind the Cannabis Cult Round 3 Divisional Winner
VIBE is grateful 🙏 for its RKO flower strain to be voted top entry in Round 3 of the Cannabis Cult Tournament Series. Each divisional round finished extremely competitive, but overall, we salute Cannabis Cult and all its participants for joining together to create something special for the patients of Missouri. Congratulations to Local, Amaze, and Sundro for advancing to the Championship Round, which is expected to throw down in January 2025 😤
One of a Kind Genetic
The history of RKO starts with these parent genetics, which were uniquely bred by Tree1Four, Jay Wills:
Sunset Trop [Tropicana Cookies x Sunset Animal Cookies]
Crown Candy [Strawberries & Cream x Tagalongz]
These loud, fruit forward strains were then crossed to create the RKO strain, a difficult genetic to replicate given its combination of unique phenos.
Limited Seeds
It took Tree1Four about 3 years to develop the strain and there were only 90 seed packs made available to the local growing community, which is an ultra-low seed population for any genetic. VIBE was able to obtain some of the last packs to grow about 60 phenos, of which, VIBE only selected one, “Pheno #727”, as its long-term strain. Pheno #727 combined most of the genetics’ best qualities into one plant, including it’s massive size, beautiful colors, rich flavor, high potency, and lights out effects. True to the terpene expression of its flower, the pheno also produces flavorful and high-quality resin and rosin extracts, making it a long-term keeper for VIBE.

The RKO strain art is an expression of the power, size, knockout, and feel-good energy of professional wrestling. Included in the strain art is Jay in “Groundskeeper Willie” physique and VIBE Flower Lead, Jared, who is a team member favorite, and local wrestler in Missouri.
